In addition to delivering in-service support for Canada’s Victoria Class submarines, we provide vessel refit and life extension support to the Coast Guard’s Arctic icebreakers.
In the United Kingdom
Through an innovative program, we extended the life expectancy of the Royal Navy’s Type 23 Frigate class. We also refitted the nuclear submarine, Vengeance.
We recently signed an agreement to provide support to the Australian Submarine Corporation. And we manage the Devonport Dry Dock for the Royal New Zealand Navy.

Babcock Canada welcomes the British High Commissioner to its submarine support facility in Victoria, B.C.
British High Commissioner, Susan le Jeune d’Allegeershecque, and British Consul General, Nicole Davison, were welcomed to Babcock Canada’s west coast facilities by President, Mike Whalley and VP Submarines, Ryan Hawes. Situated at the Government of Canada owned and operated Esquimalt Graving Dock complex, Babcock has established a thriving submarine support centre that continues to positively impact British Columbia’s growing marine industry.
